Pennsylvania Butterfly Monitoring Network

About the Pennsylvania Butterfly Monitoring Network

The Pennsylvania Butterfly Monitoring Network was established to track butterfly populations throughout the state and across various habitat types. Professionals and enthusiasts alike are combining forces to gather detailed information on these populations to assist land managers in making informed decisions and to educate the public on our natural world.

Scientific names follow 'A Catalogue of the Butterflies of the United States and Canada' (Pelham 2012)

Common names follow the North American Butterfly Association in their 'Checklist of North American Butterflies occurring north of Mexico'
